I had a very frustrating day at work, which when you work at Kindercare it is a very common occurrence. Anyways, I walked into work today and went into my classroom only to find my cot cart covered with stuff... every time I turn around I am being told that there should be nothing on the cart, however it always manages to get filled up when I turn my back and then they get mad at me. Okay so the cart is covered and there are all these shirts on it, so I ask what I am suppose to do with the shirts, because I had no idea what they were for. When the Assistant Director snaps at me that they are for painting so that the kids don't get it on their clothes, I said okay, and turned around to go put the shirts away and then she decides to keep talking. Then asks very snottily and in the same down talking manner she was using if I am listening to her. I turn and say "yeah I am." Then she turned and answered the phone and I went on my way.
Now do you think that this is an incident worth a write-up? I was working I asked a simple question to which she was rude to me in answering and used a very rude tone, and then expects me to be happy that she is talking down to me? Then threatens a write-up for me. I am at work everyday on time, I do my job well, my kids like me, the parents like me, and I jump through the hoops they like to make me jump through. And she is going to write me up over this?
So honestly to anyone who reads this, do you think the action is justified? What should I do? Is there anything?

Ouch
I went to the Dr. today and he decided that we needed to do some bloodwork. I never worry to much about bloodwork I have donted blood many times. It hurt today though and it now hurts to extend my Right elbow, and my left arm is tender. Sad day... The first time she tried to draw the blood out of my left arm and it hurt and she said she was sorry, and then shortly after she asked how it felt, and my response "well it doesn't feel good" I guess I was a bit of a smarty pants... Anyways she had fun teasing me about my response while she tried to get the other arm.

2009
Some of my goals for 2009 are below. Now is the time, life is not waiting for me to figure things out. Instead I am being left behind. I am missing out on things in life that I used to have, I am not fully embracing some things that I have, and I am not making progress where I should be. Tomorrow is here, I am not going to wait or put it off.
1. I am going to build relationships with the people I am around. There are people I interact with who I can become closer to, and who will help me to feel more connected, and give me opportunities to serve.
2. I am going to keep in touch with the people who I used to be close to. I am not just going to check on them using facebook, I am going to call them, and talk to them! I would like to maintain and rebuild friendships, I do not want to loose them.
3. I am going to study the scriptures, attend the Temple, and strive to build my faith.
4. I am going to read more books
5. I am going to see a Dr. who will help me to run again, so that I can loose the extra weight I have accumulated.
6. Most importantly I am going to Love with all my heart, I am going to Love my husband and continue to grow closer to him, I am going to Love my family, I am going to Love my friends, and I am going to be Happy and Active!

Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin
Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin died at the age of 91 on December 1st, 2008. He was an amazing man and I am glad to say he is now reunited with his lovely wife. The picture below is from their wedding day, I love that picture! It is just so sweet.

Hope
Well, Chris and I have to give talks this Sunday at church. I really don't like giving the talks, however I really enjoy preparing them. I always learn a lot and it seems that it touches onto a topic which I really needed to study. My family has been having some really serious challenges, unlike we have ever seen or experienced. Things have been tough for my parents, my brother, and relationships have been strained between a few people. I know that Chris and I are suppose to be here to help my family, and that this is where the Lord needs us right now. I have found a few quotes that I love and that I plan on using in my talk about hope in the face of adversity. I really just wish that my brother could accept some of the council of these church leaders. I hope that these quotes will inspire, encourage, and uplift any who are struggling.

The Man I Married
